The permit holder must keep the PTW with them at all times while the work is being performed. The permit holder must also ensure that all employees performing the work are aware of the PTW requirements.
The work must be performed in accordance with the PTW. If there are any changes to the work, the permit holder must obtain a new PTW.
The PTW must be cancelled when the work is complete or when the PTW expires.
Additional Considerations
The PTW procedure should be tailored to the specific needs of the company and its workplace. It is important to involve employees in the development and implementation of the procedure to ensure that it is effective and easy to follow.
The PTW procedure should be reviewed and updated on a regular basis to ensure that it is effective and up-to-date.
